Michael D. Head is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and educator based in El Paso, Texas. With an M.F.A. in Film and Television Production, he works across the full production pipeline as a director of photography, director, producer, and editor, and serves as Chief Operations Officer of Tower Productions. Behind the camera since 2010, he pairs that hands-on craft with nearly two decades in the classroom, currently as a mass communication lecturer guiding college students through video and audio production and media studies. He is also a writer drawn to character-driven genre storytelling — crime drama, historical fiction, and series work that carries real thematic and moral weight. Across shooting, teaching, and developing new scripts, his focus stays grounded in craft in service of story.
